I used to watch it every night on different channels since the 90's. Is it that boring? Now, FS1 has a game on maybe once a week and there's still Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN. Even Opening Day and Memorial Day I don't think there was a game on this year, maybe not last year either. Those days I remember there used to be triple headers on ESPN. Or something on TBS

unpopular take I've had for years.....

The season is FAR too long and people get too easily bored with it now. Reduce the season to 100 games and have the playoffs during NFL preseason.

Everything is through the regional sports networks. I think Apple TV has Friday night games. MLB network usually has one a night. Big Fox does Saturday. ESPN Sunday and maybe Wednesday?

ESPN pass on renewing the Sunday night baseball contract. Will be interesting to see where that lands.

They ruined it with their blackout rules. You'd think they'd want MORE people to watch, but you'd be wrong

Looks like it. And this chart ends in 2018. It's likely much lower now.

I attribute it to the transition of an ADHD society that wants instant gratification.

I quit watching when BLM appeared on the pitchers mound.

Used to never miss a game, would stream it at my desk. Loved the Braves, it hurts.

When there are 162 games, the ones before the fall don't matter

Since the rule changes I've come back. I was hesitant at first but the game is much better overall now.

My dad and I split the MLB extra innings package. You can have up to 10 devices or something like that so we both have our TVs and phones. Watch the Cubs every day and the tigers when possible.
