I have some land four hours from where I live, I hunt it Oct - December sparingly but like to keep cameras out starting August through the winter if possible . But I can't jump in my truck every time the cameras stop working.

I've had terrible luck with them (different brands) working and then just stop sending pictures even tough the Battery, Card, Signal all show charged/plenty of memory/good .

Any suggestions ?

For trail cameras we use Ttactacam Reveal and Spartan and they work very well.

For a cell based security camera I use the Rio link they are very good come on and notify you with motion and you can move and scroll the camera for a live feed and even talk or turn on a flashing light if needed all remotely,.

I have a couple of tactacam reveal with lithium battery pack and their solar charger.

Set it up with the solar cell facing south and I haven’t had to worry with them since I bought the battery pack and solar pack last year.

Sure you’ve used them already but I haven’t had issues with tactacam

Agree bbvdd, lithium battery with solar panel correctly aligned to get direct impact from the sun will last year round. Will only need to adjust the strap so the it doesn’t grow into the tree. Tactacams set up this way will last indefinitely.

When I was building my current home, which is on a piece of acerage I hunt on, I had a period of time where I had a bunch of equipment and such as well as my shop built and wanted to keep eyes on it before I had my road fully gated. I bought the Reolink cellular security cameras. I have three of them now and they have been fantastic. Since the house is done, I've moved two of them to feeders and they work as well or better than any trail cam, and you can pull them up in real time and have full pan tilt zoom.
I had the same issues with all the other cellular game games I tried, seems they would work a few weeks or month at best before they would stop transmitting and r require pulling them and a customer service call

I do this every day and I help other people do it regularly.

I have 32 cameras on my personal account and three different states, long-term monitoring and long-term power supplies are the name of the game.
I use WiseEye exclusively.

I have Reveal cameras and that send a million pictures and a single set of good batteries have lasted for over 6 months.

eta: There is a company, AST SpaceMobile, that is launching satellites to provide constant worldwide 5g service. Think Starlink for 5g. Once they get going it is going to be a game changer for deer cams. Shouldn't have to worry about the service end of things at all, anywhere.

I have 4 or 5 wise eye. It’s 99 bucks a month. I find that kind of spendy. I’d hate to see your monthly tab. I know you are peddling them pretty hard and more than likely an investor/owner and the reason I’m trying them out.

I have the same but looking for other options because of spotty cell service.

Definitely going to look into this.

We also use the tatacam reveal with lithium battery pack and their solar chargers. We have 8 of these and they run from September through February with no action on our part. Have had them for 3-4 years now. The solar chargers with the Li battery packs make the difference.

I use StealthCam. Each camera has a solar panel to preserve the batteries. $5 a month for each camera. I use their app almost daily. So far, no complaints.

Im not a guide. Just a dad. I have a few relationships with different ranches throughout Texas and I am a member in a large deer lease in Arkansas. Plus I have Hunting property here in Louisiana so I have cameras everywhere. I use nothing but large solar panels or large 12 V batteries on every camera.

You gotta remember WiseEye is all HD all the time other cameras give you blurry pictures and make you pay for upgraded requests.

Once you get to 10 cameras, you’ll be on the Ranch plan which is six dollars a camera a month.

My bill every month is around 200 bucks for 32 cameras, and I run them year round.

And honestly, I don’t really think I pedal them that hard here. I’m a believer in the technology and I use it as such. I think it’s a great product and i prove it by using it at a very high level.

The amount of ranches that call me and tell me all the time how they’re glad they went with WiseEye. And Moore Rance called us all the time looking for information on our Ranch plan.

It’s the best program in the ranching business because it’s way more than just a camera.

The Outfitter I guide for during deer season had 218 out last year. All cell cameras, all with solar panels.

Crazy.

My problem isn't power, I don't think.

JUST LOOKED at my app

I have two Spypoints out since last last August, the signal strength shows 90% the battery 47%, SD card 1.7 GB of 29 GB

But last communication 12/30/2024 and 1/19/2025 , I have no idea why they stop communicating.

Kidding, kinda.
Spypoint doesn’t have the best reviews

Vosker solar powered are about as good as you're going to get for legitimate off grid, solar powered security cell cams.
