From the 1st link at 23:45 Chuck Barrett who use to be the voice of the razorbacks basically admits that since Arkansas joined the SEC in 1991? That basically LSU is arky’s daddy and they always piss down their legs every time they play the purple & gold.

I feel badly for the left fielder but man they make it really hard to be a good sport.
Maybe that lack of humility and respect is part of a program culture that holds them back in some cases.

Were you on this board before the CWS started? Over 50% of the fans didn't want to face Arkansas. There were countless "the CWS should be reseeded" posts. Then, after game 1, most LSU fans were pulling for UCLA in their elimination game vs. Arkansas.
Now, for a player to say that in an interview is probably a bit foolish. But I'm sure he was just caught up in the moment and had confidence in his team. I would hope EVERY team would have confidence in themselves.
Arkansas wasn't some overly obnoxious or arrogant team. I think many on here saw them play ONE game vs. Tennessee where Tennessee's general obnoxiousness brought out a reaction from Arkansas. You're grasping at straws to find some sort of "disrespect" angle.

Maybe. I took our fans saying all that as it kinda sucked that we had to play the other best team there in game one that’s all.
I also could be overly sensitive to their “they don’t want to play us” crap because I have an irrational hatred for Zack Root. I find him to be a douche of the highest order. And frankly, I think Aloy is overrated.
It’s nice to know we did play them twice in Omaha and beat them both times so hopefully they can find peace in knowing our players had no fear of them. We beat them 4 of 5 times including a run rule game. The one game they won was heavily influenced by a particular umpire so perhaps they should re-evaluate their perspective of our team?
