It’s been a while since I’ve made some at home and the wife wants me to whip some up this evening. What’s your go to brand?

If you mean a mix from a store, to me the Kirkland Signature Margarita Mix is hands down the best mix that I've tried. It supposedly has real lime juice in it, cane sugar, and no preservatives so you have to use it within 10 days of opening.

Of course nothing beats fresh squeezed lime juice IMO. I find all of the mixes to be too sweet.

My favorite seems to be Zing Zang. Just the right balance of sweet and sour to my liking. I follow the instructions printed on the bottle and sometimes will add fresh fruit as flavoring. I cut up a watermelon last week and used the leftover juice in one and it was bomb

Stirrings is incredible mix. not too sweet and doesnt taste fake. 2:1 mix to tequila ratio is what the bottle says and its perfect. We use it to make batch margaritas for parties and just add a little cointreau

We get it at total wine.

Margaritas are super easy to make at home and taste so much better than any mix

2 oz tequila
1.5 oz grand marnier
2 oz lime juice (1-2 limes)
1.5 oz agave (adjust for preference)

You can muddle a jalapeno to make it spicy
Add a squeeze of lemon to sweeten it a little
etc

I’m sure it would be a lot better tasting, but I was just looking for something easily to throw in the blender for my wife

for frozen I just use limeade and add tequila, orange liqueur of your choice, ice, and agave or simple syrup to sweeten to your taste.

The store in N.O. has stopped carrying just the mix. They now sell containers of pre-made margaritas. I would buy their containers of mix several times a year but it's been a while since they've carried it.

I was in there earlier today and all I could find was their pre-made margaritas in the same type bottle as your pic is showing except it says Alcohol Added.

After playing with the recipe for years, this is what you are looking for.

This will be similar to and probably better than any top shelf margarita you can get at a restaurant.

Squeeze 10 limes and 1 orange to get lime juice. (will be enough to make 4-5 margaritas)
Create Simple Syrup: 1/2 Cup Boiling water, 1/2 Cup Sugar. Mix until dissolved.

2 Oz Simple Syrup
2 Oz Tequila
1 teaspoon Cointreau/Grand Mariner/Triple Sec
2 Oz lime juice

Put all of above into shaker with ice. Shake for 20-30 seconds. Pour into glass with ice.

Not a margarita fan, but I drink plenty of Bloody Marys and there is a brand called Agalima that makes an excellent mix. They also have a margarita mix and it's probably pretty good.
