Title says it all. Going with my 70 year old dad. Not really picky about location, somewhere close to campus would be nice but not a must.

I’m interested as well. Would hunt by road but willing to put in the work/walk
This thread is great. Keep’em coming
Not really trying to build muscle or bulk up. Just looking to lose the love handles and muffing top.

I actually tend to skip breakfast most days and just eat lunch and dinner

Protein after calisthenics

Posted by tigerfootball123 on 8/31/25 at 11:47 am
Good afternoon all,

I am in my mid 30s and looking to shed a few pounds and get my clothes fitting better. I am 6 foot and about 195 pounds right now. My clothes are fitting a bit tight and I’d like to get back to wearing my old jeans and fit into my tuxedo.

I’m not a big gym rat guy.

I typically go on a walk or short jog every morning. In order to help shed some pounds I am going to incorporate calisthenics after my walk.

Would you all recommend drinking a protein shake in the morning after my workout or would this be overkill?

Tres agaves mix and it ain’t even close

I hope they can make it. Nothing in that location has survived as of recently. Kind of an upscale-ish place so I’m wondering where they’d draw their clientele from but I have heard nothing but good things about it so far.
Not as sexy but bay St. Louis has the pearl hotel and some good restaurants
Thanks.

I made it out on my original 620 flight to Austin.

Currently sitting in Austin airport about to board for Cabo.

Thanks for everyone’s help (except for Lake08). I’ll have a margarita for yall
I booked these flights 4 months ago. Southwest offers same day flight changes with minimal charges.

Shut the frick up and stick to the OT board.
I paid with points. It would be about 7100 points per ticket
Update

Not looking good for me tomorrow
I’m talking about Sunday. I’ll be watching the squall line all night. If storm looks like it’s going to pass from 6 am onward then I’ll change flights to the 5am Houston flight in hopes of making it out before the delays start.
My current flight is

0625 Msy and arrive AUS 0800
Then 0850 AUS to Cabo

My thought was depending on when the storm hits, if it it’s around 6 or 7 then I could hop on the 0500 flight to Houston and then catch one of the Houston to Cabo flights
Thanks

Also considering hoping on the 5 am flight to Houston on Sunday if the front hasn’t hit by that time. If I can make it to Houston by 11ish then I could get on the Houston to Cabo flight
Yes everything is via southwest

Am I going to make my flight?

Trying to get to Cabo on Sunday.

Leaving out of New Orleans at 620. Connecting in Austin. Only 50 min connection in Austin. If my New Orleans flight is delayed I’m screwed.

Weather looks suspect on Sunday morning with that frontal line coming through.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Help.

Thanks.

Yes we have enough insulation. It’s an older house and the 4 ton just isn’t big enough. It is definitely under powered
