Kevin Schnall is making around 300k and for reference Jay makes 1.7 million.

Kevin was in line to maybe be picked up by a big time college and tripling his salary but he did not do himself any favors. After a verbal warning he cussed out the umpire on national tv and was tossed. Then he acts like a douchebag in the press conferences. The guy is definitely not marketing himself in a positive light.

It was the first thing I thought of knowing his salary...aside from coming across as a complete douche, he cost himself a LOT of money imo.

There is a reason he spent 24 years as an assistant.

Not saying he wouldn’t leave the school to triple his salary but he played at coastal and was an assistant there for a good 20 years before becoming the HC there. I’d call that pretty loyal to the program

Eventually his HRT rage will wear off and he will realize he completely embarrassed himself and his program.

Kevin Schnall will not leave Coastal until they remove him. He waited 2 two decades to get the job he has. I don't like him, but he's loyal to that program and isn't leaving.

At the end of the day teams want to win. He has shown that for atleast this year he is a winner.

Every single SEC team would give him an interview if they were in need of a coach.

First year coach, and the moment was too big for him. Doubt any AD would have gone after him either way, he needs to show a couple years of being competitive first. His gimmicks won’t work every year.

Waiting 2 decades to get a job might also be a reflection on the fact that no one was willing to pay him more. That’s not necessarily loyalty. He wasn’t that marketable. Now we see why. CC let him try, probably out of respect for the outgoing coach.

I see Schnall as unhirable by any decent program. What program whats that type of negative behavior?

Either loyal, or baseball people know hos antics and dont want it at their program. Rare a good up and coming coach stays stuck as an assistant, and especially if he is alpha. Loyalty is one thing....$$ is another.
