This game was an emotional roller coaster for me, and is probably in the top 3 LSU baseball games. I can't wait until Saturday.

It might be the best game of this CWS.

We’ll see. Selfishly I hope we open up a lead Sat and Sun and it’s not competitive.

From the team perspective one moment you thought you had control of the game, only to lose it a minute later. Things went your way until they didn’t and you wanted them to go your way last.

I had to rewatch several times today. There was so much I missed in the moment with all the tension and adrenaline. In fact, I watched it several times.

Had the ESPN guys muted during the game and was listening and watching (on my laptop) Blair and DT during the game so this is the first time I've watch the entire 9th with the ESPN guys.

So....just notice during the on the field interview with Bear Jones when he was asked the generic question...how does it feel, his reply was "God is good".

Great group of young men representing the P&G this year.

I was so shocked by all that was happening especially after the misplay by the Left fielder, I was just more stunned this time than the normally going nuts stage that I go through.
Almost couldn’t believe it.

So many Piggy mistakes;
1) 1B fielding Curiel’s ball, then throwing it away
2) Aloy’s brain fart.
3) Dagavan’s first step on Hernandez’s ball, which led to the slip and carom.
4) 2B not squeezing Bear’s weak liner.
Credit LSU for putting the ball in play, but we got so incredibly lucky! And it still isn’t even Piggy’s biggest 9th inning meltdown in Omaha!

Everyone talks about how Arkansas pissed that game away, and to a large extent they did. However, LSU still hit the ball a lot in the game and did so when they needed them most. Of course throwing the lead off runner at third out instead of the double play was a head scratcher but you know what? Stuff like that is what separates the men from the boys. The missed catch in left field and Bear’s hit bouncing off the glove later, well that shite happens in baseball. Sure those hits could’ve been fielded better but those mistakes could’ve happened to anyone.

The choice to not go for the double play in my opinion is just proof LSU really was the better team. Plus the other three wins we have over them this year.

Verdict: LSU won the game and earned a spot in the finals. Arkansas just wasn’t good enough when it mattered most.

As soon as the game was over I had to rewind it to the beginning of the 8th inning just to see again how incredible that last 2 innings were.

That’s why you must put the ball in play. Never know what pressure will do to a defense.

The ebb and flow of emotions in that game was equivalent to watching LSU football.

For excitement and drama? Absolutely. If you like seeing good baseball, not so much. We had three errors and they had one. But it felt like they made a half dozen mistakes in that last half inning.

Just came across one more thing that I have to say about the baseball gods were definitely favoring our tigers in that last inning. I just saw that the Arky second baseman was only 5'10" if that's Dickinson he is 6'1" he makes the catch.

So we had Curiel hit the first baseman attempts play looks like picher doesn't cover first second baseman could have made play easily, SS goes to third, left fielder stumbles, and the ball tipped off the short second baseman by one inch. LSU jesus was in the house
