Are there any Tigers at Barrett’s tonight? I was there in 2009 and what a great experience. They’re having a crawfish boil on Sunday for Tiger fans. Don’t miss it!

I know Barrett’s is the LSU bar and I’ve never been to Omaha so maybe I’m wrong but I can’t imagine myself actually enjoying any crawfish cooked in Nebraska.

Well considering how long that has been the LSU bar in Omaha and the fans keep going back. I am sure they have learned the correct in and outs of boiling crawfish or they have someone from down here doing it.

I'm pretty sure I've heard mention that this is the case.

I want to see a picture of it painted purple and gold.

I mean, anybody can follow a recipe. If you research and pay for the correct ingredients and some good crawfish, proper equipment, etc…I don’t think it matters where someone is from regarding their ability to cook.
That said, I think this is done by LA folks.

Asking for a friend...
Do they charge to get in for the crawfish boil? Or is it "x$" per try?

I can't imagine anything much easier to make than boiled crayfish, wonder what they use to dust it?

I can’t imagine the crawfish being up to snuff. The season is about over and the crawfish are ready to dig in. The shell are thick and hard with the tails small. I quit boiling them almost a month ago. They are waay to hard to peel now. Now that’s LA dads; maybe they find some yankee dads that are OK.???????

Ummm there’s lots of advice just standing around and drinking if they’re not sure how to do it, haha…
LSU fans aren’t gonna let you ruin the crawfish??baw!

Yep and it was delicious two years ago. I’m pretty sure dem baws drove it up, set up in the parking lot and got right to boiling.

Per tray. I want to say it was $25 each two years ago. If my memory is correct, I paid $50 for my son and me. I could be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure I read it's $30 for 3 pounds. Don't know if that money is going to charity. They had it on their Facebook page
