IMO, the board is missing the point of EO and Activist Judges

Just my theory, but Team Trump knows that everything he puts out in an executive order will be immediately judge shopped and overturned. He knows Congress will never get their shite together and pass any of these into law. I think Trump is using Trump Derangement Syndrome to his advantage due to the overreaction of the Dems to every executive order.
Every Executive Order that is upheld, at the appeals level or the Supreme Court sets a precedence. Alot of the actions that he is taking are innovative if not outside of the box. Every liberal judge that puts an injunction on an Executive Order only expedites the argument that Congress refuses to make, establishing what the Executive is and isn't able to do.
The fact that he is peppering the shite out of the liberals with all of these executive orders just makes me laugh.

Gut the power of the Executive Order and kill our over reliance on it to govern. Force the Legislature to do its fricking job and legislate.

This has been my thought for a while.
1. Do executive order that is lawful
2. Have leftists freak out cause Trump
3. Activate activist judge
4. Appeal > go to SC (if necessary)
5. Set precedent and shut them up
It doesn’t always work in his favor, but has more than not with the added bonus of showing the “normal” people on the left how crazy their party and leaders have become.
Rinse and repeat.

I think you think more than Trump thinks.

You can't be that dumb, can you? He obviously has a playbook that he is following this term and Miller is smarter than pretty much everyone in the room.

The mental gymnastics done to justify this dude's erratic behavior is quire remarkable.

He's increasing engagement for "influencers" so they can make more money. Normal people aren't "triggered." His base gets excited about everything he does. People who are trying to profit off of the emotional responses of his base are grateful he gives them content.
It's all so stupid. But eggs are cheaper. That's well worth wars in the Middle East, escalated attacks in Ukraine and riots and protests across the country.

Killing the CA electric vehicle mandate was glorious.

The only way to get things done here at this point in time.

So if they activist judges intervene it is 4D chess and it sets a precedent.
and
If they don't it is also setting a precedent.
I think the EO's were meant to accomplish what is written on the paper they were written on. Call me crazy but I think Trump would have liked his EO to not be blocked repeatedly, even if just for a short time.

What’s your logic? Wait on Congress to put into action everything he won on?
Let’s win every swing state, full mandate, etc only to not do anything.
Then, nothing gets done. Trump is a failure. Dems take back over in 28.
Smart Guy you are.

I can agree with this, but I can also see a strategy of forcing precedent to be set on many issues, and maybe not planned on the front end, but a shifted strategy possibly.

i don't think precedent matters.
A judge just blocked an EO requiring citizenship to vote in federal elections. This is OBVIOUSLY insanely illegal and anti-constitutional, but the only mechanism to fight through it is to go through the motions of an appeal. That's all they really want.... to muck up the works and slow everything down.

Republicans should use this to get more Republicans elected in midterms.
Trump should run a campaign saying, "look what more I could have done if not for all the democrats ( and some Republicans ) obstruction".
Make it a national campaign with properly vetted candidates.

it's rare to see an idea that is so logical that it just has to be true.
