He has some interesting theories on population demographics and the world economies in the future decades. For those familiar with him, what is your take?

everyone's waiting on his china predictions to become true
he's also extremely bearish on germany bc of the fall of their manufacturing capabilities (extremely high energy costs), but i think we've seen some of this come to fruition so far.

The declining population scare is BS. It was just a way for the Globalist/Elites to open the borders around the world for illegal immigration and cause chaos. Even Larry Fink tells you a decline in population does not matter because of AI

What is the backstory/details here? I don’t know much about this.

I don’t know how an huge aging population with a rapid decrease in the amount of young people will be good for an economy.

Problem is you can fix it by a huge amount of poor people flooding your country, not going to work, just look at the UK, over 50% of migrates are on state benies, it is costing them money...

Germany is in demographic collapse and their energy costs just skyrocketed due to the Russia/Ukraine War and Nordsteam. They used to be the most powerful economy in Europe, but aging and natural gas costs are gutting their industrial capacity. The question now is whether Germany goes quietly or lashes out again.

Maybe AI and robots will be able to supplement for low birth rates to some extent but they take a lot of electricity.

Well if BLACKROCK'S CRAZY GLOBALIST CEO said it...

Stopped listening to him because he’s riddled with TDS.

Does he agree about China being in a horrible demo position?

The tricky part is senior care. Most of the rest of it can be handled with tech advance

He is a phony and should be made to take geopolitics out of his name. Only slightly more intelligent than Johnny Harris but 3x more disingenuous. I never understood the point of listening to someone who starts with a premise they want to be true then so obviously works back from that angle on everything they talk about. That's Zeihan in a nutshell.

Demographic collapse is fearmongering. Their energy costs have skyrocketed in part because the Greens forced them to abandon nuclear energy in 2023. They're still the largest economy in Europe and by most accounts the third largest in the World.
