a movie that perfectly explains why communism doesn't work?
no wonder it's never been made.

The book is about totalitarianism. The CIA financed animated film is about communism.

Wow, Seth Rogen in a role he was born to play. Almost looks identical to his character.

Unfortunately, the only way communism works is through totalitarianism.
Humans don’t really want to share everything.

This is gonna end up being the exact type of propaganda Orwell warned us about, isn't it?

Im not familiar with Andy Serkis political history? He's a bad guy?
Last thing i saw him in was Andor and he was great in that, although he was anti-empire.

There’s no topping this masterpiece.

It's wild that Serkis has found a job in being in every big CGI film as a major contributor

Old Major is modeled after Karl Marx with a little Lenin thrown in. The other characters are modeled after people in early 1900s Russia from Nicholas II to Stalin, to the Russian citizens who fled to other countries after the revolution. It is 100% about communism

You couldn't be more provably wrong. Orwell stated himself it was explicitly anti-communist. He hated communists and specifically Stalin. He considered himself a socialist but hated Communism/Stalin.
He was outraged the UK was working so closely with the USSR during WW2 and that's the backdrop of him writing it.

Absolutely. Modern Hollywood is attempting to spin it as an anti-racism movie.

I read it years ago and also recently did an audiobook listen
It’s absolutely about communism

Serkis started his own production company to create this movie.
The partner companies are based in London, not Hollywood.

a movie that perfectly explains why communism doesn't work?
So, let me go ahead and be psychic and predict that racism and capitalism will be the reasons for the farm's collapse.
And it looks like a shitty video game from 2005.

I've seen the animated movie from the 50s.
