Where is the idea coming from that the ICE arrests in Los Angeles are illegal?

Per Bill Melugin on Fox, these are arrests signed off by a federal judge.
There have been other regions/situations in where ice accidentally got the wrong person, but I’m not sure why immigration lawyers and progressive activists are adamant that what ICE is doing is illegal
