From the descriptions of protestors on here you'd think he would have gotten killed doing that. They offered him a chance to prove himself in the back and he declined. It was pretty civil considering he went to troll them

The Mexican just didn’t want to get an assault charge hitting him on camera in front of a federal office. Wasn’t anything civil about it.

Exactly, if these people are so committed to their cause then the venue or witnesses shouldn't matter.
But just like all criminals, they don't really regret their crimes, they just regret getting caught.
That's the whole point of all of this, these freeloading, non income-tax-paying, resource sucking dregs on our society don't want to do anything the legal way, they just want to conduct business as usual.
