I've posted this before but Sam Donaldson's visceral hatred for Ronald Reagan is a great example of how far "journalism" has fallen. He might let that hatred influence how he presented a story but he was an actual journalist worthy of the name. If he claimed to have an unnamed but high-ranking source, he actually had an unnamed but high-ranking source. He didn't make shite up. He didn't knowingly push false narratives. And he didn't bite his tongue when other people did those things.

Reading the comments on X and it still amazes me that people in this country don’t understand free speech. Liberals are pissed he is being punished for his post because muh “free speech”. The first amendment protects your right to speech but not consequences from said speech.
