The good bad and ugly just came on and tryin to introduce it to my son, who is completely uninterested.

Lots of good ones. The Searchers may be my personal favorite. Tombstone and Open Range are my favorites out of the ones from the last 40 years or so.

For A Few Dollars More - ending duel scene is amazing.

Unforgiven - no words needed.

No Country for Old Men - may get shade on this but it’s certainly a western.

"Hell's Hinges" (1916) is great.

Another terrific William S. Hart film is "The Toll Gate" (1920).

Jeremiah Johnson
Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid

All you youngsters listing Tombstone...I've tried to watch that several times. OMG it is sooooooo bad. It's unlike any other "classic" western. I will say that Powers Boothe's character makes it somewhat tolerable. For me there's too many stars peacocking for screen time.
