‘She always said, “I’m going to be famous, dad”’: Teen dies after viral TikTok ‘dusting’

Renna O’Rourke and her boyfriend DoorDashed aerosol keyboard cleaner to her parents’ Tempe, Arizona, home without her mother’s knowledge, Dana O'Rourke told 12 News. After inhaling the keyboard cleaner, Renna went into cardiac arrest, spent a week unconscious in the intensive care unit and then was declared brain-dead.
“She always said, ‘I’m going to be famous, dad. Just you watch. I’m going to be famous,’ and unfortunately, this is not under the most optimal of circumstances,” Aaron O’Rourke, told the outlet..
Renna’s parents described their late daughter as “vivacious and caring and loyal.” Her father, Aaron O’Rourke, told 12 News that Renna loved to sing and lit up every room with her smile and laughter.

Fentanyl was invented by a Belgian, Paul Janssen, who is considered one of the greatest Belgians to ever live. He also was the first Westerner to produce drugs in China... Great move, Paul.

Kids now will make a damn fad out of anything. Hell, they probably think doing duster is something new. It isn't. Idiots have been doing that for decades.
I don't get it, and never will. Inhalants have never been a drug I would ever consider. I had friends who did it back in our younger days, and even then I thought they were stupid.

When I was too young to buy alcohol, I knew this guy who told me that he would buy me booze if I took him to Walmart to get some duster. He started inhaling it before we even got out of the store and was incoherent and drooling all over himself in the checkout line. I had to take the money out of his pocket and hand it to the clerk. I just looked at her and mumbled, “He promised to buy me alcohol.” Man, the shite we used to go through to get booze. He did manage to go into the store and get it for me, though.

It’s impossible for a parent to supervise their kid every minute. And this kid was a 19 yr old adult. Of course she can obtain keyboard cleaner without their knowledge

Did you know keyboard dust is ac refrigerant and can replace r-134a in your car system. It’s actually more efficient, most old r-12 systems that are converted to r-134a compressors use keyboard dusters. It is r-152a. I’ve used it in 3 cars now and it’s works so much better. It’s has a different molecular weight than r-134a, 66.05 g/mol compared to 102.03 g/mol

They’re pretty garbage as a way to get high. People will do anything though , crystallized wasp spray for instance

What were they gonna do? Restrict her to a Nabi (tablet for toddlers)? Disable wifi?
Even if they knew she purchased keyboard cleaner... how would they know she'd misuse it?
