Not really towing shite. I like nice trim levels. 4x4. Want smooth ride, good economy and a no hassle truck for the foreseeable future.

Saw an ad for 6500 in rebates, employee pricing plus 14,000 off msrp the other day for ram, landers in Shreveport.

Yota sales mgr said they’re dealing on the Tundra.

Might be time.

I see the Tundra and Tacoma now have rear coils….following rams lead.

Thought the Rams had engine issues around 100K miles?

Or are you getting rid of it before that many miles?

It is bar none the best riding vehicle made right now, perhaps aside from a Rolls or S-class.

Take a Ram, Ford, and Chevrolet in equal trims, compare the list price and then look on KBB and see which one depreciates the most.

I've never done that comparing the Dodge but it should be interesting

Are Rams better than they use to be? Or are the rest of the trucks just equally as bad now?

Only 6 months into a RAM 1500 L but so far very satisfied. As mentioned already, a fantastic ride and you should get around 21 - 23 MPG avg.

A lot. It’s faster than my raptor ecoboost or 6.2 Silverado were

A brother has one and he digs it. The interior seats and trim is awesome.

I have that exact truck but it is 6 years old and has 200k miles on it. No engine or transmission troubles yet. It has the tick that pretty much all hemis have. I love it and will drive it until it completely falls apart, then buy one just like it. Very plush, comfortable ride. Technology is incredible too.

Ram is reintroducing the Hemi V8, so you may want to wait for that. I work for an automotive dealer group, Ram is one of the brands that we have. It is far away the nicest, quietest full sized truck that we carry(Chevy, GMC, Ford, Ram, Toyota), but is the quickest depreciating of the 5. It is also the most expensive, comparing comparable trim levels/options.

Aren't the new Tundras supposed to be monumental pieces of junk?

This. Although I've heard the hurricane runs pretty strong it doesn't have nearly as many proven miles as the 5.7.

Only down side is it comes with the e-torque system standard now

Pros: best transmission in the group
Comes standard with the gt exhaust system
New "symbol of protest badge" is kind of cool
