It was reported by multiple sources. Andrew Reidell reported it, and it's on multiple trackers.

I kind of like this every other year approach. You allow HS kids you recruited to develop, see who can play and who can't and then the following year have a heavy portal year filling in the gaps where the HS recuits didn't fill out.
This approach obviously depends on having good enough HS kids to fill out the majority of the roster AND hopefully now that we are going into year 5 with Jay, there won't be as much of a drop off like there was last year.

All 35 don't have to be on full scholarship. It's going to depend on how many each schools offer.

My son’s friend is going to a Big 12 baseball program. I can tell you they are putting emphasis on two way players.
They have him moving to OF as primary position to ‘rest arm’ so they can use him to pitch.
