They’ll just be replaced with more trial lawyers commercials.

Which means the mainstream media will fight this like crazy. It’s their cash cow.

Never.

No timeline had been announced publicly about banning commercials. It would probably take an act of Congress to ban drug commercials which would take at least 6 months for Congress to write, debate, and pass such a bill and I doubt they could even do that much. It would then take another 3-4 years of court battles.

I saw an ad for testosterone that said impatience could be a side effect.

Idk but seems like that’s almost all the advertisement they have left, I’ve been seeing the just commercial break messages with no commercial lately on just regular cable channels, that can’t be good.

Don't get rid of these commercials! How else will I learn about a new medication that will clear up your acne while rotting out your liver?

It seems like the networks rely on these ads so heavily.

Why couldn't Trump could coax more favourable coverage from the networks in return for letting these ads stay on television?

If the networks continue to give him 96% unfavourable coverage then take the ads away from them.

As bad as the lawyers are at least their side effects dont include stuff like anal leakage.

Most of these drugs have side effects worse that the ailment.

Definitely has become the norm to half-watch someone over the top happily singing and dancing with their neighbors, co-workers and friends while the detached, yet friendly background voice dutifully lists all the horrible ways you could potentially die by taking this product.

I miss the old days of Miller Lite, Alka-Seltzer, Brut, Hamburger Helper, new cars….and just regular consumer stuff they were selling in between game timeouts or TV shows.
