Movie Tavern/Marcus Theaters are showing Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on June 14, 15, and 18 at the theaters in Covington, Baton Rouge, and Juban Crossing.
My old man and I saw this in the theater when it was originally released. It will be a fun Father's Day to go see it with him again.
My favorite of the trilogy!

I was 10 going on 11 when Raiders came out in 1981, still distinctly watching it with my family in a tiny, even by 1981 standards, theater with terrible lighting and 1981 living room quality sound.
Went 2 years ago to the 40th anniversary screening, which was originally postponed b/c of Covid. OMG!
Absolutely magnificent remastered, can only imagine Last Crusade will blow you away.
Yikes, Raiders will be 45 next summer. But it’s magical too feel like a kid again if only for 2 hours. Enjoy.

My personal favorite of the trilogy.
Perfect ending to Indy’s story riding off into the sunset with his dad, Marcus and Sallah.
Nothing else happened after that. Nothing at all.

This is my favorite as well. Raiders is so fun and classic, but the father son angle sets this one above. And it’s a great adventure and story.
I miss getting movies like this every year. fricking blows the state Hollywood is in right now.

I saw Raiders for its 35th anniversary at Perkins Rowe on like a Tuesday evening. Not an empty seat!
Easily my favorite theatre experience!
I imagine seeing Last crusade would be a similar experience.

One teaches Russian to high school kids in Anchorage. The other is a Navy SWCC warrant officer with a daughter and a son of his own. I just texted him the Fathom link suggesting he take his kids. He replied back, "Hell Yeah!". Told him to let me know if I need to get them hats for Christmas.

Looks like it's coming to my theater June 15th.
May have to go. This was the only Indy movie I saw in the theater, and still remember how pumped we were about in the car ride home.

My favorite out of all three IJ movies. I still have my VHS tape I got for Christmas (with Batman 1989). Those were random, but great gifts as I had not seen or heard of either at the time. Never received a movie before or after that for Christmas as a kid.
May take my 9.5 yr old. Think the rapid aging scene would be too much for him?

I was ten when I saw it in the theater. I mean, I kind of turned out okay.
Fun fact:
The Grail Knight was a cousin of my father-in-law. Sadly, he passed before I married into the family so I never met him. If I had, he probably would have told my wife (no pics) that she had chosen....poorly.

For a 9.5 year old boy, that would be the pinnacle of the movie.
