Chowhound Best Burger
Anyone been to this Burger Nerds in New Orleans?
And based on the pics for some of these burgers I gotta go Michigan for the best.

Burger nerds is a real good smash burger. They add queso which is a great addition. Not the best burger in New Orleans.

I’m not sure if it’s the best burger in the state — or even just in Baton Rouge— but I’ve always thought J. Alexander’s serves a really great burger. Chain or not, they consistently get it right, and that counts for a lot in my book.
Fleming's used to do (and maybe they still do) a Burger Bar Bites (perhaps it is renamed?) and that was an excellent burger as well.
And Superior Grill used to have an excellent burger (perhaps they still do?). Along with an excellent chicken fried steak (it was an off the menu item).

So Chowhound has tried every burger in the country to be able to come up with the "best"

I enjoy burger nerds but they need to make the presentation a little better. It always looks really bad.
But taste is great for a snash burger

I also think La Petite Grocery has the best burger with High Hat being a close second.
. Also high up there is Sammy's with the huge 1/3 and 1/2 pound burgers. Their flaw is it takes so long to get a burger there.
I still like Company Burger too but i went from weekly burgers to one every few months.

No such thing as “best”, just favorite.
Brown Butter is back and they are my favorite.
I had Burger Nerds a few weeks ago post-hangover, it was delicious.

You’re gawdam right La Petite has one of the best ever.
I would also give a nod to Luke. Desi Vega prime burgers is another excellent hamburger.

I flipped through all of those. The Butch Cassidy and the Hi-Ho looked the best.

Loved that place back in the late 90s. Many sloppy lunches spent there.

Well, then, I guess they ate at each and every hamburger joint in all 50 states…. boy what a road trip that must’ve been

For a big greasy I typically hit Beach Corner.
