Whatever happened to bipartisanship in this country?

Whatever happened to bipartisanship in this country, when two opposing parties cooperate to achieve common goals for the greater good of the country?
I look back at the 4 years of the Biden presidency and can't understand how Puddin' Head and the Democrats were okay with allowing illegals to flood into our country unvetted, and even spending taxpayer money on accomodating them. How was this good for us? And when Republicans complained about it, we were called racists.
How was Puddin' Head and the Democrats okay with obliterating our energy dominance by over-regulation and pushing the "green new scam"? This resulted in prices skyrocketing due to higher gas and diesel prices. It doesn't take a mathematical genius to figure that one out!
I guess the thing that bothers me the most is how evil-minded and uncooperative the Democrats have become, fighting Trump in everything he does to make the U.S. better. And when the crimes that occurred during the past 4 years are brought to light, the Demwits holler, "retribution"! It's not just retalliation...it's getting justice for crimes that were overlooked and accepted.
Politics have become a competitive game where one side, (mostly on the Democrat side) simply refuses to join in with anything the Republicans push for a greater country. One good example is how the Dems are fine with men competing against women in sports. They're okay with students failing year after year with the most bloated system in place to only help line the pockets of Union pundits and the connected few. They condone anti-semitism, which is growing rampant across our college campuses, and most recently resulted in a double murder by a crazed activist.
And, finally...how can anyone trust a Democrat? They lied about Biden's incompetence and raised no questions about his ability to serve as president because he was their puppet, and they enjoyed the power.
I hope and pray we never see a Democrat in power again, even as a dogcatcher!

Yellow journalism has moved to a stance where they use the term "bipartisan" to mean "doing whatever is proposed from the Left." Any objection is labelled as "obstructionism".
When the Right proposes something and people start going along with it, it's labelled as "a threat to democracy," "demagoguery," etc.
That's why when someone like Fetterman aligns with the Right on a specific topic, the media either ignores him or tries to cast his stance in a negative light. When someone like Susan Collins aligns with the Left, she's portrayed as a brave hero.

Bipartisanship went the same place as the honest mainstream media. It has taken years but got much worse during the Obama administration then when Trump won in 2016 it went extinct.
Both sides seem unwilling to compromise but what has made things worse is the corrupt news media. They demonized Trump and ignored an obviously demented Biden. There is no incentive for the Democrats to compromise with the spin given on every issue.

For a while it was just the spineless republicans folding to democrats and they called that bipartisan.
