Who was dumb enough to build this in the worst part of Algiers?

Right next to what used to be the Fisher Projects. Looks like a new construction Old Metairie house except the location is the most ghetto part of the westbank. Talk about out of place.

Permit was applied for in 2022. Owner is from NOLA but the builder is from......Denham Springs

oh shite, i drive right by that every day actually. never really looked that close though. yeah that's a crazy spot to build a house like that. north of Opelousas, maybe...but not down there.

You will slowly start to see vacant lots in that neighborhood. Soon these will pop up everywhere.

Very difficult to build a house for less than $200 per sqft and the list price is $175 per sqft

Edit: I see it was listed originally 4 months ago at $285 per sqft and has gone through four price changes and a $200k drop in price
