I like that plan. Pitch Shores, and whomever, until the fifth inning. If it’s close, or we have the lead, go with Evans. If we are down big stay with the bullpen and save Evans to support Eyanson, Anderson and Cowan.

Why in the world would we ruin Shores' new found confidence as a relief pitcher by putting him in the same situation that wasn't working for him?

Ideally he probably wants Noot and Ware to each get through the lineup twice and then depending on where the game is let Cowan close it out
