A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms delayed to 2026 (Update: Renewed for seasons 2 and 3)

If tweet fails to load, click here. House of the Dragon season 3 will be 2028 at this rate. Seems they are attempting book accuracy by releasing them at GRRM’s pace.

Yeah I wonder if they will change up House of the Dragon then. It's currently scheduled for late next year. I can't imagine they want both of these coming out the same year, but I guess they could.

I wonder why its so delayed? Its not that complicated of a story and there are no dragons so its not CGI related.

Filming for HOTD started in March and should go through October it said (of this year). So probably spring 2027

I lost interest in HoD when the 2nd season came out. It’s so grim that I have no desire to rewatch eps and stoke my memory.
I watched it, tho. Even got pulled into the story a time or two, but I seriously dgaf about the 3rd season. I want Knight of Seven Kingdoms asap.

Same here. All the Dunk and Egg stories were entertaining as hell. Can’t say that about HotD. It’s become a slog.

Not really, when you consider the production value and its probably the equivalent of shooting 2-3 feature films

Really? Seemed like in season 2 there was just a bunch of yapping in castles with a few action scenes thrown in as an afterthought.
