Why?

He would still be in prison for the state crimes.

He 100% should not be pardoned. He was not following doctrine. Protect officers in line of duty doing their job as taught. Hang em out to dry if they put people they’re arresting in dangerous holds like Chauvin.

The man died of a drug overdose. Chauvin should absolutely be pardoned.

He did nothing wrong. He subdued a shitty human being for doing shitty things. That shitty human died from ingesting all his contraband. Darwin 1 - Floyd 0

If true, Trump is about to make a major mistake that will throw the mid terms and possibly 28' to the dems. Chauvin has a longer state sentence than federal, if he wants to pardon him, do it on his last day.

Anyone wanting or advising this at this time is 100% trying to lose the mid terms.

The jury decision is the jury decision. Leave it alone.

The optics on this would be very very bad. Like losing mid terms in a landslide bad.

Trump isn’t going to pardon him. He hasn’t even talked about it. If it does cause tampon tim some time away from destroying his state though it’s a win for Minnesotans.

I’m late to the party on this one. When did Trump say he was going to pardon him?

Funny that you wrote all this, yet you don’t even claim that Chauvin caused this criminal’s death.

Chauvin got a raw deal, but Trump can’t waste political capital on this. The state sentence is keeping him in prison so a federal pardon would be an empty gesture with really bad optics and ramifications in the midterms.

Could very well be the Dem fear machine priming the pump for protest season.

I don’t get this. I thought Chauvin’s charges were state charges. The president can pardon state charges now? Even if Chauvin has some federal charges and Trump pardons those Chauvin is not getting out of jail.

Sounds like the left is trying to rile up their base. Send $5 so we can fight.

Agree a federal pardon does nothing but throw the house to the DNC.

Considering Chauvin would still be in jail on state charges, there is literally no upside and a lot of down side. This would be retarded.
