I’m sure Bernie Sanders will be onboard, right? Right?

And the Dems, well they’re the party of the little man. They’re the party of 4chubbies for gods sakes. Surely they are onboard, right?

If you think that's going to happen you don't know insurance companies very well

Nope. It's Trump's idea and it's bad... very, very bad.

Just the prescription insirance cost

Not the cost of providing medical care for illness administered by doctors

They will cry that it raises the cost to poorer countries.

And you hate poor people.

Ending government subsidies for insurance, the biggest ponzy scheme the world has ever known, will lower perscription and healthcare costs across the board.

Executive orders seeking to manipulate the government-manipulated "free market" will only make things worse in the long run.

Medical care is not administered by doctors. It administered by the codes that are put in place by the insurance companies that the doctors use. Your healthcare is not being provided for your best interest, but by profit margins.

A rare moment indeed, but I find myself in 100% agreement with your statement.

It should lower them but insurance companies aren't exactly the type to give a discount in such a scenario

I’m all for profit but it’s got to be balanced with value.

You say that like they aren’t the reason hospitals can charge like $100 for a single Tylenol.

Imagine believing that our current pharmaceutical system is a "free market".

I’m not getting my hopes up on the drug costs coming down. I think congress is going to have to be involved in this, and too many of them are bought and paid for.

People also said that corporations would pass on the cost of tariffs, but we saw that that wasn't a hard rule, either.

If an insurance company doesn't give a discount, then the next time a company of 100 or 100,000 employees chooses a new plan, guess who doesn't get the contract. Do you think that will hurt profits and encourage a different approach?

Also need to reign in the middle-man pharmaceutical dealers, that along with increasing red-ink from govt, are pushing mom&pop pharmacies out of business as corporates eat the sector up behind them.

Perhaps

And perhaps this is just round 1 to identify the scum that votes against it, and primary their arse. It may not happen overnight, but it is time the American people get the scum out of office, whether Democrat or Republican.
