I think Trumps Qatari plane is about embarrassing Boeing

I read that Boeing may not deliver the new AF1s until 2035. 17 years after they won the contract. Years behind and billions over budget. Meanwhile Trump can take deliver of this Qatari plane, have it outfitted and in service within 2 years. 8 years or ahead of Boeings turtle job.

There's a 3 letter agency on the presidential advance team that does bug sweeps. I'm sure they can handle a plane that's probably going to get ripped to the studs for a rebuild.

Boeing is a true embarrassment of a company. Elon should get into the airplane building business. Put them away permanently.

The planes were built before the contract was even signed. All of this is just converting it Air Force One standards. It’s actually hilarious.

It’s all ready being outfitted as the 3rd plane back up. The difference being is Qatari is considering dropping the retrofit cost and donating to the Air Force
