Who do you consider the best vocalist of any genre?

I am sure the answers in this thread will be very diverse. To me, any of the four tenors. Then, some could argue Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, George Jones, and George Strait are probably the top of the list as well.

Devin Townsend would be the first name to come to mind. I don't know what genre you would put him in, though. Probably prog metal but that's not a hard and fast classification for him.
For female singers in metal genres I'll say Melissa Bonny, plus she's gorgeous.
