That’s so over the top makes me think the team the coach is employed plans on drafting Sanders in the 2nd round if available.

I wonder what is the lowest drafted qb over the past 20 years that chose NOT to throw at the nfl combine.

Definitely a Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach.

The Steelers are definitely drafting Sanders.

He has only played for his dad. Whoever drafts him is going to be frustrated to no end because he will be uncoachable.

No…no one will wear #2 at Colorado because of nepotism. There are Colorado players that were way better than Sanders that have not been honored like that.
This is travel ball culture ( my daddy is the coach so I start) seeping into college sports.

Colorado's offensive line was horrendous. When Sanders had a clean pocket, he completed 82% of his passes. Which is tops in college football.
No one else is over 80%
Just saying

This kid is going to get all dressed up and sit there with his Dad all night as people don't call him. Press is going to turn the Draft into the Sanders Drama Show.

At some point Deon will say something crass on camera about it and it will be all everyone talks about Friday morning.

It will then damage his chances to get drafted on day 2.

This is nothing but a smoke screen, the NFL Assistant Coach will be reveled on Thursday when the coach's team pick Shedeur with their first pick.

No one will wear #2 again because the coach is a clown.

Could be a planted story so he drops more. Teams are ruthless.

Saints need to think long term QB prospects. Sanders would be a flashy 1-2 year wonder. Avoid the temptation.

I think this combined with his egocentric personality will ultimately be what he has to overcome to be successful. That’s IF Deion stays out of it, as well. I’m not sure he has enough raw talent to overcome the major hurdles that come along with drafting him and developing him.

Can he handle adversity on the field and from his coaches/teammates, without balling up, getting mad, and quitting? Can he swallow his pride, and allow the people around him to make him better? Can Deion keep to himself, and let the franchise who chooses him do their jobs?

Oh, you mean the All American, 1st ever Freshmen Heisman winner? One of the best college QBs of time that fell to pick 22 and would've most likely slipped out of the 1st entirely if not for the worst franchise trading back up to pick him? The primary reason was character concerns.

The next year Jameis Winston, another Freshmen Heisman winner went 1st overall despite the whole crablegs and sexual assault allegations.

Since then, we know Manziel is a huge POS while Jameis is a great teammate and generally a good dude. It's almost as if these teams have people that are equipped and capable of making these decisions without outside influences.
