The more we learn about pre-Columbian Mesoamerican civilizations, the worse they get.

Also, they weren't violent, but many of their cities were apparently evacuated and abandoned long before Europeans arrived. Must've been due to climate change, not extreme violence endemic to their beautiful cultures.

I used to wonder why that meme in the OP also had the crying liberal ladies. It makes sense now.

Crying over the evils of brutal colonizers is part of their schtick. Before Europeans arrived, the "Indigenous Peoples" were all simple children of the forest living in perfectly peaceful harmony.

Academic archeologists are a cult. For many years the Mayans were a peaceful people. Then they unearth a burial temple with paintings of warriors with severed heads, lol.

Then, the Mayans we 100s of years after the people of Teotihuacan. Then oops they unearth green obsidian in Tikal and the only place in the Western hemisphere it is found is in.....Teotihuacan. So they Mayans were dependent on them and not some super race like the academic "discoverers" of Tikal had professed??????

They are like global warmers. They make stuff up and then build a narrative around it.

A 1000 years from now when they find the remains of childrens bodyparts in some of our "trans clinics" for kids, will they say we sacrificed children?

We’ve aborted 63 million + babies since Roe v. Wade. You won’t need archaeologists to say it.

So something in a fallen culture led to mass killing of children. Sounds like a familiar pattern.

If not for the introduction of Europeans just before the indigenous people were able to complete the peer review phase for vaccines that could have protected their immune systems from these diseased Europeans, they would all still be alive today.

I’m so glad our society has moved past sacrificing children for good fortune to befall those too important to sacrifice themselves for their children.

I get it. After several toddler meltdowns I’m sure plenty of Mayan parents were willing to sacrifice their kids.
