I understand but don’t understand, going through life judging everything by race, religion, political affiliation, gender, etc

Bueckers and UConn and those South Carolina teams had All-Star teams, even Reese and Brink with All-Americans. Iowa was never remotely stacked, no teams were calling Iowa to get transfers in the portal.
But still brought no title ever Iowa to back-to-back National Championship games, along the way beating UConn, LSU and South Carolina in the tournament. So there's that.
