Nine Inch Nails is a fantastic backup plan to Daft Punk. Trailer looks SICK.

I’m all aboard except for Lego’s weird arse shite. Any other casting choice would have been better. Can’t stand him.

It's like Pixels if it had a bigger budget.
And more serious.

He's really going to hurt the film. I figure Disney will basically hide him from the trailers as much as possible and just show visuals, which is the strength of the franchise.
Very shaky that no Joseph Kosinski as the director, but the cinematographer is a Cronenweth, so that Def helps.
Going to be very very hard to top Tron: Legacy, which is somehow still underrated.

Doesn’t look as aesthetically beautiful as Tron Legacy. That film was like an acid trip. The cool-blue color resolution was enough to hypnotize you. This looks more and more like it’ll be closer to the 1982 film, cinematography-wise.

I consider Tron Legacy to be an elaborate Daft Punk music video and was disappointed they wouldn’t be returning. That said, I have no concerns with Ross and Reznor. They killed the Challengers score and have a chip on their shoulder after the Oscar snub. They had the best score last year imo.

Reznor, Ross, Cronenweth.
A lot of guys Fincher has worked with in the past during his peak, which is a good sign. Still can't believe they cast Leto in the lead though. What a giant mistake.

Looks good. I'm a sucker for Tron shite.

I just don't get the Leto love... Seems subpar in everything I've seen him in

No Olivia Wilde or the other guy?

Incredible soundtrack to Tron Legacy. Still jam End of Line all the time. I’m a big Tron nerd, so looking forward to seeing this in the theater.

Instead of Cillian Murphy we get Evan Peters as a different Dillinger.
This is definitely a first-day show for me. If they somehow keep it quiet and Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund do show up, that will be spoiled immediately.
It could also be a "from the world of Tron" type thing and not directly related to Legacy.

I’m not some Tron Guru or whatever but I know I throughly enjoyed the more recent one that was released by Disney a few years back. The soundtrack and the world/visuals were enough for me. I’m all about that shite.
I’m fricking stoked for this.

The 2nd Tron is one of the best "movies not film" examples, but, for some reason, it was reviewed as if it was a film.
This was a movie with an incredible theater experience focused on awesome visuals and a GOAT-level soundtrack. Olivia Wilde also never looked better, imho.
Did it have the most groundbreaking story or character development? No, but that's judging this as a film. It was a sci-fi story that was fine. The characters were fine.
I just never will get the hate (not necessarily on here) that movie got.
Even the audience score on RT is only 64%

Even in Requiem for a Dream, American Psycho, Lord of War, Prefontaine? People hate him for Morbius and Suicide Squad but that was bad writing.

Garrett Hedlund is also not very strong as a leading man. He has zero charisma or charm so you don’t really care about his character.

You do realize the original Tron score was done by a trans woman right?
