They truly have their finger on the pulse of the middle class. How can we survive without Ferraris and imported wine

Drink California wine. Problem solved.

I'll stick with Texas-made Tundras and Kentucky-made bourbon.

If not Cali wine, maybe Aussie wine or some other non-Euro vineyards.

The US can produce just about anything we need at a high level except computer chips. That will be the biggest cost adjustment for all US citizens. I'd buy any electronics you need asap.

War Room played a vid clip this morning about wealthy elites being concerned over the cost of building their new 15,000 square foot crib. The 1%'ers are worried the deportations of millions of illegals working in residential construction, coupled with potentially rising material costs is going to take their $2.5 million dollar home price up to $3 million.

these are the types of things we should be tariffing big time. IF you have that much money to buy a Ferrari, you can pay 25% more.
and who cares about french wine.

Not to mention 2021 & 2022 were some of the best wines most regions in Cali have produced in recent history.

here's the thing you can't just buy a ferrari you have to apply to buy one, if you're selected you have to agree not to resale it for a period certain.
then you'll be put on a waiting list. one of the main criteria the look at is do you own more than one. that's a plus.
i saw a car show interview with jay leno talking about it which is why he doesn't own a ferrari. he doesn't like all the hoops they make you jump through.

That motor was made in NC and the truck was engineered in Cali.
Buy American.

Well documented thread. I am firmly convinced this is exactly what happened.

The price of Ferrari's was out of hand before the tariffs.

I mean I don't love a new tax on wine. I went and bought two cases yesterday.
You're acting like "imported wine" is some crazy luxury.

Aussie is a 10% tariff, South Africa is 30% I believe. Great wine producers both.
I assume Chile and Argentina are both 10%?

There are 730 chip manufacturers in the US including Intel who is one of the largest in the world. Chips are also one of the countries top 3 exports.
