Yes he’s injury prone but that 150 milly
“superstar” QB throws it like a jackarse and puts his players in concussion prone situations. Only facts here.

It’s “olave made of glass”
“Let’s get a draft pick, trade Olave and move up blah blah”
For what!? To take a DE from phoenix online with an amazing wonderlic score who will be cut in 2 years?

Then in week 7, our product on the field is kirkwood, foster Moreau , bub means & MVS?

I’d personally like to keep olave and see what he can do with Kellen Moore as his play caller.

What’s the alternative?

He gets traded to a chiefs, eagles, bills, broncos, lions ect team, finds his role and excels.. then we hear about loomis loomising?

Yeah it’s hella frustrating his inconsistent playtime but some of yall are reaching like crazy. Unless yall enjoy that week 7 product…..

Olave is a good player. The issue is for what we gave up to get him, you’d hope he was an elite WR. He’s not though. Not to even mention the concussion issues and having to pay him

Rookie season, 1000+ yards with… red rocket throwing the rock.

2nd year. 1000+ yards with Carr.

3rd year. DCarr. 8/17 games played, 400 yards Pacing for who knows 800-1000 yards.

Maybe not elite category but that’s pretty freaking great. U kidding me?

Draft the Zona WR. CO in slot w/ Johnson Kamara and a few other weapons.

I just think fans are giving up too early on this potential elite wr

Since you stating only facts here, what other player has he put in the concussion protocol?

They shoukd hold onto him. His value is near it’s bottom right now.

Hes what I thought he’d be coming out. A good to great #2. Like I said in the draft thread that year, if we wanted a true #1, shoulda moved up for his teammate.

Rookie season he was force fed a ton of passes on games we weren’t exactly competitive in.

I also love how you’re just glossing over that he’s likely one hit from retirement with his Tua level of concussions.

Face it. He’s never going to be the guy a defense is up at night figuring out how to stop. In a perfect world he’s not a number1 for a championship caliber team. There’s no way you pay a guy with his injury history and non elite physicality elite WR money. It was a shitty trade at the time. Cut bait and move on once his value goes up a little because it’s rock bottom right now.

Garrett Wilson? He wouldn't have been worth it either. He disappears quite frequently as well

You blamed Carr for Olave injuries. Carr is still the QB.

He said concussion prone situations

Mike Thomas, Jimmy Graham, Moreau all have been lit up from Carr hospital balls

His attitude sucked year before last (he was loafing by week 3) and a large portion of the fanbase truly believes he’s elite by default because of where he was drafted and what we gave up.

Olave is a keeper, especially with another threat available.

Keeping him is not the issue. He won't be cheap next year. I think he wants to try FAs. So he is gone. Use him this year get nothing or trade him.

I would think we’d get a pretty solid comp pick when he’d sign elsewhere in FA. So if we’re not offered anything great hopefully we’d get a 3 just from the process playing out?

Spot on, the problem is the guy who made the shitty trade is in charge of trading him if we go that route.

Gayle has allowed the arsonists of both her franchises to now be the fire fighter.

I don’t think Olave wants to be in New Orleans so it’s really a moot point. I bet he leaves quickly when he hits free agency. You just can’t offer a guy with concussion issues the big money he will want. I say trade him now if a fair offer presents itself like a 3rd or you could wait and hope he has a big first few games of the season to up his value and possibly get a better offer for next year’s draft. Either way I think this is his last year in New Orleans.

Balls over the middle from Carr would scare the crap out of me if I were on the receiving end. He seems to throw balls where a player has to stretch out and expose himself to a big hit. Not just concussion-type hits but also those rib crackers, If we want to keep Olave healthy, Carr needs to throw him only toe tappers on the sidelines or drop them in if he gets behind the defense.

Did it really make sense to put CO in the title instead of Olave?

Olave is a high end #2 that we are trying to make a #1.

He also doesn’t seem to have the heart or toughness that makes Saints fans love guys.
