There is absolutely ZERO reason or excuse, other than incompetency, to not be able to put together enough talent to at least make the NCAA tournament next year.
LSU basketball fans do not expect a miracle. Just be more competitive and make the fricking tournament. It's not too much to ask.

His excuse next year will be he had to replace almost the whole roster. If he has five more years he can build a builder. Hopefully SW doesn’t listen and fire him iwhen he finishes out of the tourney again

His transfer portal classes have been pretty highly rated. The problem is that he brings in players who don't fit the needs of the team or what he wants to do. Also, the data shows that the more transfer players you add, the less likely you are to have post-season success. The best teams are being built around a solid core and adding a few key pieces from the portal.

The McMahon supporters don’t care about results. To them the most important thing is that the Coach recruit with honesty and integrity. Our basketball program is focused on building champions of life.

Seriously though, the best thing LSU basketball fans can do is just adopt NC State as our new college basketball team since the LSU Administration and Board of Supervisors killed the MBB program.

If Kelly doesn’t make a serious run at a playoff, the losing McMahon does may be inconsequential and all three find their asses being run out of town on a rail.
