Was thinking the same thing. ESPN seems like the NFL is subsidizing it for some reason.

If they now own the NFL network, can that count toward their contractual obligation of NFL programming hours per week throughout the whole year?

Maybe allowing them to mix in some other sports?

I cannot imagine them parting ways with MLB and buying the NFL network will result in less NFL coverage
