Why are owners called Governors now in the NBA? Please dont say cuz blacks think that

Owners is a bad word. Whats the real reason? The players get paid millions of dollars to play.

Most people see Owners in a benign way, you own the club, team, stadium, franchise.
A lot of black athletes and racist liberal progressives see racism in everything....Ergo.

The person who owns the team is the owner.
The players for the team are employees. Most are way overpaid.
