Will Wade going to NC State reminds me of Nick Saban going to Alabama in one way.

Just like when Saban left for the Dolphins, he couldn’t come back to LSU later because we had Les Miles. This time LSU couldn’t hire Will back, even if they wanted to, because of McMahon.

This is a stupid analogy. Also Wade was never going back to LSU.

I’ve always thought it was the football fans that made our fan base so irrational.

It’s definitely the basketball fans though.

Okay, now you Will Wade fanboys are getting out of hand. In no way is Will Wade similar in achievements than what Nick Saban did here. Get a hold of yourselves.

You know Nick would have come back to LSU if we had an opening, he said so. I’m not saying Will is on the same level as Nick, just that they would have to fire McMahon to get him back. Obviously that wasn’t going to happen. Both situations were bad timing for LSU.

Wade wasn't coming back because he knows firsthand that we don't support the program.

This is stupid AF.

The situations are nothing alike.

If Woody wanted Wade back, Wade would be at LSU. Wade didn't leave on his own accord like Saban.

That said, our program is in the shitter.

Y'all think Wade would have gone back to work for the dude that fired him? That would be pretty difficult for most people

Saban won a natty at LSU, Wade won an NIT game - over ULL.

It sucks we're going to have to endure Wade knob slobberers emoting about Wade going to NC State for the foreseeable future. It's baffling to me that grown men can be so soft and weak.

If people were adults and smoke a peace pipe, it's not unheard of.

However, the bus has left the station.

The real shite is that our program is terrible right now 3 years into CoachMc.

And distractions don't mask that truth.

I'm not convinced these are grown men. If they are, they are absolute trolls.

Poor analogy.

I like Wade, but he (right now) isn’t comparable to even 2004 Saban. More than that, Les was winning in 05 and 06. I think LSU fans forget Saban went 9-2 in 2004. There was no reason to fire a guy who was 20-3 (regular season) at that point.

This is more akin to Les leaving after 2006 and LSU hiring Hallman to replace him. Then, after three awful seasons where LSU has sunk to the bottom of the SEC, Les wants to return to college football and is hired by Georgia Tech while LSU says “we’re not interested. We think next year is Curly’s year!!!”

Will Wade is fricking garbage compared to Nick Saban when he was at LSU!
Dude cheated his arse off paying players with his wife's credit card. He might be the dumbest coach LSU ever had!
