17 cars invovled and the dead includes a 6-month old. I-35 is a death trap. Seems like there's a fatal crash each week.

I-35 was grid locked due to the amount of lawyers trying to get to the scene to "help".

TX has many more billboard lawyers that laugh at Morris Bart, et. al. But to bring this up about mass casualty event is sort of disturbing.

Can’t imagine losing a 6 month old. There just aren’t words to describe how awful that would be.

I-35 is NOT a death trap.

Dumbarse drivers are death trap. Drivers need to put the phone down, pay attention and not drive like idiots. Show some class, patience and respect for the road.

after attending a funeral for a 20YO and seeing his parents complete and utter emotional duress, I don't think there is anything worse than losing a kid. And I say that as someone who isn't a parent.

it's not exclusive to Austin, but that's the worst part of it. i'm in Temple and Waco and we have way less fatalities than they do south of here.

That being said, my son's truck was totaled by an 18 wheeler that merged into his lane in Temple

I don't hate a lot of people, but the people that F'd us over to screw Perry on the Trans Texas Corridor just so he couldn't get a win suck donkey balls.

35 would be awesome without the 18 wheelers.

What are the odds the driver was an immigrant unwrapping a tamale?

I can’t wait for self driving cars. There’s a lot of concern for big rig drivers losing their jobs, but frick all that. Autonomous driving is significantly safer

I hate driving on 35 from SA through Austin more than any other stretch of interstate in Tx, including 45 north of downtown Houston.

The few times I've had to go through Austin to get somewhere south, I take that new toll road bypass, and it's worth every penny.
