This Shelley Dick needs to be removed from bench.

This Shelley Dick needs to be removed from bench. She makes the most insane left-wing decisions. She was appointed by Obama Administration and never ceases to rule in favor of criminals and against justice. There needs to be a way for activist judges that continue to make wrong decisions that are again and again overturned by higher courts removed from office.
She just halted the execution of an inmate who raped and shot a woman in the head and has been on death row for almost 30 years. Like how long do the victims of a violent and merciless crime have to wait for justice because of left wing and heartless judges like this idiot Shelley Dick?

He should be raped & shot in the head. It wouldn't be cruel or unusual to him, only to intruding bleeding heart activists like Judge Shelley Dick and Sister Helen Prejean.

The judge didn’t say he was innocent or that he shouldn’t be put to death. They are talking about how to do it. That’s not a radical ruling.

Wow you really are a drama queen
You act like she threw out the verdict or punishment.
It’s a question of how the execution will go down

In a roundabout way, she may be doing the states a favor. This has only been tried once so far so it is relatively new. Appeal it up to SCOTUS and let them make a ruling for everyone going forward.

I hope you get gang raped by large African men before your life is over.
Not for the pleasure it would undoubtedly give you, but for the nuance.
I know you @ssholes love nuance. .

Not sure how this is possible, but she cherry picks her cases to get involved in cases that involve certain issues like these that always gum up conservative issues.
She was responsible for the extra minority congressional seat and was at the center of a trial a few years ago that involved forcing Terrebonne to switch to judicial districts so a minority could be elected despite the fact that one was already elected without opposition. Luckily, The Terrebonne case got overturned on appeal, unlike the Congressional case where the AG, Governor, and legislature just said:
And stopped fighting.

How many more years do you figure that'll take?

I have argued that constitutionally, the person should be given a choice:
1. electric chair
2. injection (choice of drugs)
3. firing squad
give them the choice and you no longer have the argument against how
could also put in guillotine and public hanging for more choices.

They'll need to do a comprehensive study, which will take a few years. Once the study is complete, it will probably be using outdated data so another study will need to be done. When that one is finished and submitted a few years later, the data will likely be outdated so another... etc.

Stand them up against a brick wall and put a bullet in the head.

Agreed
It should be as cruel and painful as possible.

Apparently, judicial willingness to even consider a Constitutional question renders a judge subject to impeachment, in the minds of our resident "conservative" legal scholars.

Agreed. They had thirty years to figure this out.
Just let that dude pick.
If he doesn’t make a decision in twenty minutes or so, shoot him the head and chunk him in a hole.

Colorless odorless gas which makes him fall asleep is “cruel and unusual punishment”?
That is a radical stance IMHO.
Maybe we need to follow the example of states like SC and just shoot them or hang them, which these various “cruel and unusual” punishments were come up with to replace.

If it makes you feel better, she hates plaintiffs in civil cases.
