Nasdaq partying like it's 2000

A lot of people out there with that deer in the headlights look as they learn for the first time that stocks can go down, a lot, a whole lot.

Read through some of the old threads over the last few months where the people that dared to suggest shorting TSLA/MSTR/NVDA/QQQ were overwhelmingly attacked and downvoted.

A person could have mad a fortune shorting Tesla over the last few months.

I mean, any person could make a fortune doing anything in hindsight..... That's why there's a market.

In other news, the alters coming out to post gotcha thread about market crashing has got to be some sort of sentiment marker.

After the last three flash crashes, you’d think they’d wait for the dust to settle before trying to dunk on people.

I still wonder what happened to the poster that claimed he went all cash after Biden was elected.

Today is the New Normal, thanks to the hordes of people voting strictly on emotion for a failed businessman to be Economist-In-Chief.

TSLA down 14%

Maybe that a-hole should go back to running his business instead of acting like he's our POTUS. Tesla is in some real trouble. You shareholders should be absolutely irate. He's singlehandedly destroying that company's value via his political antics.

Is the whole market down or is it just TSLA?

Why would businesses associated with Elon be attacked? Why would people with the power to influence the market want to see it do bad?

You might want to look at SQQQ. If this is really the beginning of a recession, the 22% YTD growth we've seen in it thus far is likely to be just the start.

Two analysts downgraded TSLA today. It's down over 50% since election day and the sales forecasts are abysmal based on Europe and China not wanting shite to do with his cars.

But hey, maybe in a couple months he'll come out and tell us about the CyberTaxi again! That'll get the stock going!

These people tend to forget Tesla got down to $100 18 months ago. This is a long play for me.

Hes all in on the 18 wheeler and taxi market, and is in the process of signing contracts with police departments on Cyber Trucks. Vegas has already started.

This is way bigger than how many cars they sold in Europe or China.

Why don’t yall short instead of bitching on here

The economy has been terrible since Covid but the stocks went up because of money printing

Now the market is reacting in fear that someone might cut the printer off. The printer is still going for now though

This money printing was a wealth transfer from the people who work for a living to the parasites that live off the back of the working man

Everything is double or more than it was 5 years ago and wages haven’t really gone up much at all. 70+% of Americans don’t own any form of asset, no real estate, no stocks etc and when you debase the currency these people suffer. Nowadays they’ll never have a chance of owning a home or any of the other normal life milestones people over 50 took for granted. The American dream is dead

If you’re worried about the stock market dipping you’re one of the 20 something percent of Americans that have assets. Consider yourself lucky, be grateful, check your privilege, etc.
