Meanwhile up north Paxton Kling is tearing it up at Penn State. 7 HRs 17 RBI in 12 games. Great outfielder, extremely mishandled by CJJ who had his head completely screwed up.

Glad he got a fresh start somewhere and is crushing it!

Wishing him nothing but the best (unless he plays LSU)!

Good for him. I wouldn’t say LSU is really missing him would you? OF is already crowded.

Sometimes kids just need a change in scenery. I think the pressure of LSU was getting to him.

Also. Big 10 pitching is Not SEC pitching.

Which part of that is the player's responsibility? The kid came in with a ton of hype and that can get in one's head.

Credit to Paxton for his success.

He’s 3/23 his last 5 games
so he’s come back to earth since his insane hot start.

Hope nothing but the best for him. sometimes a change of scenery is more
important than anything else

Seemed like a great kid. I wanted it to work for him here and so did Jay….sometimes kids just need a different environment to thrive.

And a haircut

Dude let his gay arse long hair become his identity instead of his play on the field

He’s hitting .294 in 51 AB’s. LSU currently has 9 players with more than 30 AB’s. 7 of them are hitting over .300.

If only Johnson could sign some talented players out of the portal to offset the ones he loses like Kling.

Kling hasn’t even faced big ten pitching yet but maybe being closer to home is better for him
I hope he has a nice year and gets drafted
He flashed at lsu at times but never figured out sec pitching but he was given a lot of time to figure it out even on the 23 team as a fr
