How many bridges to nowhere are there? These boondoggle kickback schemes are how politicians get rich . Weaning the Government spending is going to be a challenge, and painful if it ever happens, and it has to happen..

A "transgender man" still has a uterus and (presumably) can still menstruate in some cases.
Whether the government should spend $600k of taxpayer money studying it is another question entirely.

You could argue if this is a study is worthy of government money, or if Southern is the best/most capable institution of carrying it out, but the topic of the study is definitely reasonable and is one that should be explored. Without concrete statistics, the woke butchers will just continue to mutilate young people.

Dumb question, but what exactly is there to study? We have extensive knowledge of the menstrual cycle. It isn’t a mystery. Rearranging the plumbing and calling it a boy doesn’t change what the female body is hardwired to do.

Who approved these grants is what I want to know. Follow the money trail or approval processes. Someone needs to be held accountable. I know there will be loopholes and those saying I was doing my job or it was in my job responsibilites to be able to approve it but damn, we need some reckoning on all these rats stealing our tax dollars. We need some criminal cases damnit.

Probably this part. How testosterone and other meds effect their cycles. Now this shouldnt be sanctioned with govt money, but the FDA should be holding private pharma, that wants to get into this game, to pay for these studies on their own. Before approvals. See how popular it remains, when they have to pay for it.
Now if it turns out they are including MtF* loons, as if anything is going to add a cycle to them dudes, then fraud charges needed to be coming down.
