US Scours World For Egg Supplies After Biden's "Insane Slaughter Of 150 Million Chickens"

I thought Biden killed 10 million....150 Million? WTF
"The Biden-Harris regime's questionable handling of the nation's food supply chain—leading to the culling of 150 million egg-laying chickens amid the avian flu crisis—has led to nationwide supply disruptions and record-high egg prices. There were no visible countermeasures Biden officials put in place to offset the loss of domestic production, and the out-of-control culling only created an epic disaster for consumers. Now, the Trump administration is left to manage the fallout, scrambling to secure global egg supplies in an urgent effort to stabilize prices."

Oh FFS. How long does it take a hen to start laying eggs? Fine, I won’t eat any eggs for that long. No big deal. Can’t we all do that? Do you absolutely have to have eggs for breakfast? You can have a tuna fish sandwich without eggs. Can’t you just have a waffle and bacon at Waffle House or will today’s person just not be able to handle the stress of not having scrambled eggs too?
Talk to some older people about rationing during WW2. They didn’t fricking bitch and moan and they had to do without a ton more. They made do. God damn society is so weak.
People are running around like a chicken with their head cut off because eggs cost more now albeit temporary.

I’ve been buying yard eggs from a friend for a substantially lower price than the grocery store price.

This was obviously one of the dems biggest ploys to undermine Trump when he came in. There was no bird flu. If there was anything, it was Dems and chicoms infecting them with something. But it's pretty obvious there was nothing as big as they claimed. They just want to hurt Trump. Dems...you are the scourge of all of humanity. History will not be kind to you.

But, the killing of chickens infected with avian flu, or in stocks where it was present, is known as a “stamping-out policy” and is followed by the USDA, which states there is no treatment for highly pathogenic avian flu and “the only way to stop the disease is to depopulate all affected and exposed poultry.”
The current bird flu outbreak began in February 2022, and since then the USDA estimates 166.38 million birds have been killed through depopulation efforts to contain the disease.
While the majority of those killed occurred during Biden’s presidency, the practice has continued since Trump took office and an estimated 13 million birds have been affected since February.

So they've been killing Millions of birds for years now - thanks for the heads up. For some reason we just didn't see this in the news 3 years ago, but glad to finally get some insight now

Liberals-"What does that have to do with it? He killed the chickens not the eggs."

You need some chickens in your yard then or make protein powder shakes for breakfast.

The Costco we shop at has a limit of three 24 packs at a time at a cost of $7.49 each.
I don't need to be "limited" to 72 eggs all at once. Just one of those is plenty for us.
Trade Joes limits it to one dozen at a time. It's $4.99 for a dozen brown eggs.

It's not just the eggs you eat. Eggs are in a lot of other foods. Do you want to tell a bride she can't have a wedding cake? Good luck with that.

I think it’s like 6 to 9 months after it’s born before a hen can routinely lay eggs.
Edit: Chat gpt says anywhere from 4 to 7 months typically

You can easily have cake without eggs. And bread, pancakes, biscuits, etc.
And besides, if $5 a dozen is breaking the bank for you, you’re failing at life.

I overheard somebody on Newsmax2 talking about this. They were saying that the Bird Flu is a hoax and a way to make an excuse to have $8 a dozen eggs. They also were saying something about the bird flu coming out of a lab in Athens, GA. Its like a new Covid Conspiracy.
Not saying this is true just telling what I heard while at work.

Wait until you see how much they're going to pay to create a vaccine for the chicken flu.

I saw a thing where they interviewed like a 3rd generation chicken farmer and he was astounded by the practice. He said, "You know what they used to do when chickens got sick? Breed the survivors to make the flock stronger."
