From what I’ve seen, Canada would be a major tax liability for the US. It would be interesting to add them but by all accounts it would be a net negative from what I’ve seen and I’m very moderate personally on Canada.

This delegation is only representative of Alberta not all of Canada. They hate the idiots in east Canada. They want to leave Canada and become a state. They have the majority of Canada’s oil. They are also super conservative unlike the rest of Canada.
