I don't know how accurate the above statement is from your link, but the main issue to me is if the Republicans can keep from re-allocating more money to these bullshite groups in the future.

It doesn't matter how much is cut today, if they give them more money tomorrow.

The article states the ruling involved "already completed work."

Why would we be for that?

I am against any more funding for all this overseas BS. CUT, CUT, CUT!!!

But, if work has been completed satisfactorily, what legal, moral and ethical reason exists to withhold payment?

Well, let that be all the dirty politicians’ severance package. We all know the majority of it will go into pockets, not to actually be used to help people.

It’s completed work. It should be paid

Sure we will pay them.

As soon as we validate actual work was done.
As soon as we validate “completed” we will pay.

That’s literally the purpose of DOGE

It's hilarious at how Roberts is sooooooooooo sensitive to the reputation of the courts (and Court), and tries like Hell to keep decisions from being too far-reaching (see Sebelius and Dobbs), yet he basically allows a district court judge to have the equivalent power of the President of the United States.

ACB is a democrat. She's sided with them about 70% of the rulings. What a waste of a SCOTUS seat.

if it's work that's already been completed, it should be paid, no issues with them ruling this way

like it or not, it would be stupid of anyone to not pay for work that's already been completed, even if we don't agree with the justification of the work itself.

you're contracted to do a job, you do the job, and you expect to get paid for it.

now, we can cut off the spigot for these future jobs.

Sounds like it's a reimbursement.

Regardless of politics, we need to pay our bills. If the work is complete then it should be paid. Just don't give them anymore business.

Let’s reconvene this meeting after we verify the “work”, and that it was done.

if real contracts with deliverables, pay the bill

if its shame contracts, get Patel/Bondi involved to look for criminal fraud. Pick the worst, embarrass Robert/Barrett directly

If the contractors did the work, then they should be paid. If I were contracted to do work and completed the work, I'd want to be paid.

She's female and joined the other females. THAT is something Trump should consider if he is provided an opportunity to fill another seat.

that's fine and should be done for every job out there

but if it's work completed and you don't pay, then that sets a pretty bad precedent and not a great way to do business.

Is this only for past projects or new ones, too?

Agree.

"This decision only affects completed work, not future freezes.

The ruling compels the Government to release funds for work that had already been completed before February 13, 2025. However, it does not block the administration from continuing to pause or cut future foreign assistance. Trump’s broader agenda of cutting USAID funding may continue for projects that were not yet underway."
