Europe says they will only agree to peace keeping troops if U.S. protects them.

Europe must do the heavy lifting, but must have the strong backing of the United States, he said. The summit took place two days after a disastrous bilateral in the Oval Office in which US President Trump and Vice President JD Vance upbraided Zelenskyy for being not grateful enough to the United States. They accused the Ukrainian president of disrespect after urging him toward a diplomatic solution with Russia. They did not sign a deal on developing Ukraine's mineral resources that Kyiv hoped would spur Trump to back Ukraine’s war effort. The meeting left many political observers shocked as to the re-alignment of the United States, as it vividly illustrated a sharp turn in US foreign policy toward Russia.

Europe is that crazy hot chick who’s spoiled but you finally had enough of her but she refuses to let you break up with her.

Highly purposeful language there.

Great plan! Let's see how that works without

Totally de-coupling from Europe is not in our best interest. At least not until we figure out our path forward with Moscow.

That means 2 or 3 European countries might actually agree to provide limited resources and the US would have to pick up the slack if we were the back up.
This is a bait and switch scam by Europe.

“Let’s try and achieve the same goal but just word it different. Maybe that’ll fool the Americans.”

Can a European leader explain the purpose of continuing this conflict?
I keep hearing buzzwords but have no actual strategy. Do we keep this meat grinder going for years with no real gains on either side? WW1 all over again.

These mother frickers are out of their minds. What did Trump say to Z in the WH when he chastised him? He said you are gambling with the lives of millions of people and WW3 acting this way. He was absolutely right because look at what these short sighted assholes are saying in backing Z to spite Trump. They are gambling with full scale escalation but as the above statement proves, the EU can’t get Uncle Sam’s cock outta their mouth.. frick you if you think you’re gonna put planes in the air and boots on the ground and then hide behind us for protection. Starmer and the rest of the EU are nothing more than the mouthy bitch at the bar, writing checks with her mouth but expecting someone else to do the fighting.

Our way forward with Moscow is to not ignite ww3 period. The UN and NATO are desperately pushing for ignition.

Oh come on, we can protect them. We'll sell them some rockets. But no troops
