Just continuing the same exact problem as last year. Just with a few different players. I know LSU isn’t the only team that goes through this but dang it’s frustrating when you have a team this talented yet so un clutch

I mean we could just stop getting runners on base.

In 2023 we left an average of 9 runners on base a game.

double digit hits and 8 runs scored. When you get on base as often as LSU, you are going to leave runners on base.

Bigger issue today was all the free passes issued by LSU pitching.

Just enjoy the early season win

Yea 23 left so many guys on, they also happen to drive an assload in and spank people.

You get a lot of hits walks and hit batters and you will leave guys on

Same as last year.

I'm hopeful the bats will be more timely when it heats up.

Long way to geaux this season.

left RISPS is a stat you can ignore. players are not clutch, they eitherr hit it or they don't.

I know what you are saying: "coach says player X is super clutch, he knows more than you!". coach is giving player X confidence and has no interest in shattering myths.

just worry that players have high OPS, that they get on base and hit for power. the runs will come if they do.

Got the timely hits we needed when we needed them the last two games against good competition. Didn’t leave the bases loaded today. They’re further ahead this year than last year

Question to ask is. Do you follow a baseball team? If so, does that team do a good job of getting on base? If the answer to both of those is yes, then your baseball team you choose to follow will leave men on base.

Need to find some consistency at the bottom of the lineup. It will happen… and when it does look out bubba..

Its hitters with experience to that hurts.

Tanner reeves is a black hole
Larson is not seeing it.

Braswell is doing ok but his Ab's are getting poached.
We need more:
John Pearson

Please show where we rank in that category this season so far and last season . Actually, go back to 2023 too. I'm curious if it just seems that way or if we are worse than other schools at driving guys in

CJ really needs to hire a 3rd party consultant to advise him on how to create a batting line up. I am offering my services for 1.1 million per season. My contract will guarantee improvement. Just throwing that out there lol.

You people are ignorant, there is not a perfect team out there and never will be.I saw a Skip coached team get beat 28 to something against ALA and
comeback to win the CWS.
