Film Threat's Chris Gore - who is very plugged in and not a gossip hound - has sources from "a friend in the industry" telling him that they have been putting out feelers for the last seven months.

Alan did a great series (The D Files) on the inner workings of Disney, so it's not like they're passing stuff off with zero sources.
And Chris has been in Hollywood for 30 odd years.
The 'parts' of Disney sounds more reasonable, but even so, they can't find a buyer after 7 months? Details are needed.

As usual you have no idea what you’re talking about. Gore is not like the “YouTubers” you pretend to know but don’t. Gore is an insider who always takes a much more sympathetic approach to movies and TV than the people you think you know.
